  • Services Provided: We offer professional electrical services including installations, repairs, upgrades, maintenance, and consultation. Specific services for your project will be outlined in a separate work order or contract.
  • Estimates and Quotes: Any estimates or quotes provided are valid for [30] days unless otherwise specified. Final costs may vary if the scope of work changes or if unforeseen issues arise.
  1. Payment Terms
  • Pricing: Our pricing is based on the work performed, materials used, and time required. All fees and charges will be clearly stated in your work order or invoice.
  • Deposits and Progress Payments: For larger projects, we may require a deposit or progress payments. These details will be outlined in your agreement.
  • Due Dates: Payment is due upon completion of services or as otherwise specified. Late payments may incur additional charges at a rate of [specify percentage] per month on the outstanding balance.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments via cash, check, credit/debit cards, and electronic transfers.
  1. Client Responsibilities
  • Access and Permissions: The Client is responsible for providing safe and unobstructed access to the property and work areas.
  • Permits and Approvals: The Client must secure any necessary permits or approvals required by local authorities unless otherwise agreed.
  • Accurate Information: The Client shall provide accurate details about the work area, including any known hazards or issues that may affect the service delivery.
  • Timely Communication: Prompt communication is essential to address any changes or additional requirements during the project.
  1. Warranties and Liability
  • Workmanship Warranty: We guarantee that our work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. Our workmanship is warranted for a period of [e.g., 12 months] from the date of service, provided that the work is maintained and used properly.
  • Material Warranty: Any warranties provided by manufacturers for materials or products used will be honored by the Client in accordance with those manufacturers’ terms.
  • Limitation of Liability: In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by the Client for the services rendered. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services.
  • Third-Party Services: Any work or materials provided by third parties are subject to their respective terms and conditions, and we are not liable for any issues arising from their products or services.
  1. Changes, Cancellations, and Delays
  • Changes to the Work Order: Any changes or additional work must be agreed upon in writing. Such changes may affect the overall cost and timeline.
  • Cancellations: If the Client cancels the service after work has commenced, the Client may be responsible for the costs of labor and materials used up to the cancellation point.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, labor disputes, or other unforeseeable circumstances.
  1. Dispute Resolution
  • Negotiation: In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation.
  • Mediation/Arbitration: If a resolution cannot be reached through negotiation, the dispute may be submitted to mediation or arbitration in accordance with the laws of Marin County.
  • Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California – United States. Any legal action will be brought exclusively in the appropriate courts of Marin County.
  1. SMS Terms and Conditions

By opting into SMS communications from SOS-electric, you agree to receive text messages related to promotional offers, appointment reminders, order updates, account notifications, or other relevant communications. Message frequency may vary based on your interactions with SOS-electric. Standard message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to any message. For assistance, reply “HELP” or contact our customer support at (415) 453-1630. Message delivery is subject to your mobile carrier’s network availability. SOS-electric is not responsible for any delays or failures in message delivery.

Opt-Out Instructions
